It’s precious summer here in New England, and it’s hot and wonderful! It’s the time when everyone wants to hang out and let loose. Let us help you with some delicious and EASY cocktails for your gang!

Whether you're by the pool, lake, or just chilling on the porch, fresh cocktails like a trendy Aperol spritz or a classic margarita are perfect. Hosting a BBQ? These recipes can easily be doubled or tripled. Whip up these crowd-pleasers and some snacks, and you'll have everyone saying they had the BEST cocktails!

These are all easy big batch cocktail recipes – promise!!!

 

Watermelon Vodka Smash

Ingredients:

  • 15 cups cubed watermelon

  • 3/4 cup fresh lime juice

  • 1 1/2 cups vodka

  • 6 tablespoons triple sec

  • 6 tablespoons maple syrup


Instructions:

  1. Blend the Watermelon: Place the watermelon cubes in a blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Strain the Juice: Pour the blended watermelon through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher to remove any pulp. Discard the pulp.

  3. Mix the Ingredients: Pour the strained watermelon juice back into the blender. Add the lime juice, vodka, triple sec, and maple syrup. Blend again until well combined.

  4. Serve: Serve the cocktail over ice and garnish with watermelon cubes, lime slices, and fresh mint.

 

Spiked Arnold Palmers

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups unsweetened tea (prepared)

  • 4 cups bottled lemonade

  • 2 1/4 cups bourbon (18 oz.)

  • 2/3 cup simple syrup

  • 3 medium lemons, thinly sliced (about 24 slices)

  • 12 mint sprigs, for garnish


Directions:

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl or pitcher, stir together the tea, lemonade, bourbon, and simple syrup.

  2. Chill: Add the lemon slices to the mixture and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or up to 24 hours.

  3. Serve: Serve over ice and garnish with mint sprigs and lemon slices.

 

Pineapple-Rum Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (46 ounces) pineapple juice

  • 2 cups spiced rum

  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (from 6 to 8 limes)

  • Lime slices, for garnish


Directions:

  1. Mix Ingredients: In a large pitcher, stir together the pineapple juice, spiced rum, and lime juice.

  2. Chill: Refrigerate until chilled.

  3. Serve: Serve over ice, garnished with lime slices.

 

Classic Margarita Pitcher (with optional jalapeños)

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups freshly squeezed lime juice

  • 2 cups silver tequila

  • 1 cup triple sec

  • 6 tablespoons agave syrup (adjust to taste)

  • A pinch of salt

  • Ice


Instructions:

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a large pitcher, mix the lime juice, tequila, triple sec, agave syrup, and salt.

  2. Stir: Stir vigorously with a cocktail spoon until the mixture is well chilled and combined.

  3. Serve: Rim four glasses with salt, if desired, then fill with ice. Pour the margarita over the ice and garnish with a lime wedge or wheel. Serve immediately.


Aperol Spritz Pitcher

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups Prosecco

  • 2 cups Aperol

  • 1 cup soda water

  • Orange slices, for garnish

  • Ice cubes


Instructions:

  1. Fill Pitcher: Fill a large pitcher halfway with ice cubes.

  2. Add Garnish: Slice an orange into thin rounds and add them to the pitcher.

  3. Mix Ingredients: Pour the Aperol, Prosecco, and soda water into the pitcher.

  4. Stir: Gently mix the ingredients with a long spoon or stirring rod.

  5. Serve: Serve the Aperol Spritz from the pitcher into glasses filled with ice cubes, ensuring each glass gets some orange slices.
